Dr. Fernández, a former commercial flight instructor from Flight Safety International and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, is the president and founder of Greengate Consulting, a boutique consulting company based in Atlanta that serves investors around the world to secure solid investments in the U.S. and in real estate developments. The company has supported the investment of more than $500 million since its inception in 2010 under the EB-5 and other international investment programs, opportunity zones, and Section 170 acquisitions.
A published author in the topic of technology valuation, Dr. Fernández earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was able to master and combine two different disciplines, computational finance and engineering, into a single framework for business decision making, and viability of technology investments.
Before founding Greengate Consulting, Dr. Fernández started his career at General Electric, where he first monitored the financial exposure of GE’s maintenance contracts of gas turbines, and then as a senior manager leading the production plan of $1 billion worth of spare parts across the world.
Today, Greengate Consulting is recognized as a top 5 company in the EB-5 space by EB-5 Investors magazine, and has presence in the U.K., Australia, Spain, Brazil, and Ukraine besides its operations in the U.S.
Dr. Fernández currently resides in Atlanta with his wife and three kids near their home airport (PDK). He dedicates most of his free time to his family, but when he can, he loves to fly any fixed wing with a slight inclination for low-wing aircraft, such as Cirrus, and Piper.
